Fairhaven Mills
Brownsfield Redevelopment
Before the Fairhaven Mills in New Bedford could be redevleoped,
multiple environmental hurdles had to be overcome. Prime was involved in a comprehensive
subsurface investigation, oversaw the removal of several underground storage tanks, conducted several remedial actions,
and implemented a Benneficial Use Determination (BUD) for re-use of materials onsite. The success of resolving the environmental
issues led to the permitting, design, and construction of Riverside Landing (see civil services).
