Student Dormitories
As the University of Massachusetts has grown, so has their need for
on-campus student housing. Prime Engineering was involved in the site design and permitting of the
Sophomore and
Woodland Community residence halls. The Woodland Community was a 72 million dollar project
which created 1,200 student bed spaces, function/conference space, and state-of-the-art recreational
facilities. These design-build projects incorporated a complex drainage analysis and design which
improved many stormwater related problems for the surrounding community.
